The Jeviste Language School was founded in 2005. We use the original act and speak® method which uses dramatic play to create meaningful situations in the classroom and always puts the language lesson into immediate use. Our courses are entertaining and diverse, and they are suitable for both confident and shy students. We have provided language courses for children as well as adults, summer camps in the Czech Republic and the U. S. A., we have organized seminars for teachers and theatre festivals for schools. For eleven years, we closely cooperated with Zakladni skola Marjanka, a state school in Prague 6, where the act and speak® method was included into the elementary curriculum and after-school clubs. Since our courses are very demanding in terms of organization and time, we currently open only one or two courses per year. We have also started collaborating with Threshold, a languge school in Barrandov, Prague 5.
